Dear Future All-Stars,

On behalf of the entire Junior All Stars educational team, I want to welcome you. You have shown exceptional promise as a young musician.  As a member of the band, choir, or orchestra, you will perform for audiences in Hawai'i as we experience the best of the island of Oahu. You will be in the capable hands of three of the finest conductors our state has to offer, alongside a coordinating team of dedicated music educators from around Florida. We are excited to have you join us on this unforgettable adventure!

Cultural Experiences

Students will dive into the rich traditions of Hawaii with immersive activities at the Polynesian Cultural Center. From learning the graceful art of hula to exploring cultural exhibits, this experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with Hawaiian heritage. The evening concludes with the unforgettable HA: Breath of Life show, a spectacular blend of music, dance, and storytelling. The tour also features a traditional Hawaiian luau, where students enjoy authentic cuisine, lively music, and dance under the stars.

Sightseeing Adventures

Hawaii’s breathtaking landscapes are central to the tour. Students explore Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri, reflecting on its profound historical significance. The adventure continues with a scenic hike up Diamond Head Crater, offering panoramic views of Oahu’s beauty. A snorkeling excursion at Hanauma Bay provides a close-up look at Hawaii’s vibrant marine life, while a visit to the Dole Plantation highlights the island’s agricultural heritage and its world-famous pineapples.

Free Time & Connection

Amidst the scheduled activities, students will have time to relax and take in the beauty of Waikīkī Beach. Whether enjoying the warm sand and tropical waters, exploring local shops, or sampling Hawaiian treats like shaved ice, these moments create lasting memories. The downtime also allows students to bond with fellow musicians and fully soak in the magic of the islands.

Music & Performances

Performing in Hawaii is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young musicians to shine. The tour includes a powerful and moving performance at the USS Missouri, where students honor the heroes of Pearl Harbor in a historic setting. Another highlight is a vibrant outdoor concert at the Kapi‘olani Park Bandstand, where music fills the air and inspires both locals and visitors in a stunning island atmosphere.
